Acute Pain Package

Do you have a new or unusual pain? Creative Wellness has developed an “Acute Pain Package” to target a specific area of pain with the precision of Acupuncture and the release of Massage.

Acute pain may be mild and last just a moment, or it may be severe and last for weeks or months. In most cases, acute pain does not last longer than six months and it disappears when the underlying cause of pain has been treated or has healed. Unrelieved acute pain, however, may lead to chronic pain if it is ignored or not treated.

Acupuncture will address the underlying cause of the pain. The acupuncturist places fine, sterile needles at specific acupoints in the body. This activates the body’s Qi and promotes natural healing by enhancing recuperative power, immunity and physical and emotional health. It is a safe, painless and effective way to treat a wide variety of medical problems including acute pain.

Massage will treat the pain itself by providing relaxing release of the muscles with deep tissue massage and/or acupressure to relieve the tension and release the pain.

The combination of these two treatments focused directly on your area of pain will help to heal the body and relieve the pain in order to prevent an acute pain from turning into a chronic pain that may last longer and keep you from achieving a greater state of well-being.

The Acute Pain Package is $100 for a total of one hour of a combination of acupuncture and massage.
